Gaybed is not a Hotel! We do not offer loundry service, we do not offer room service and have not a 24h front desk. Gaybed is a guesthouse. You have you own room with your own keys - you come and go whenever you want. Gaybed is clean, friendly and cheaper then the youth hostel! Gaybed is not suitable for business needs! Of course we give you on your arrival lots of information about Berlin! Does the rooms have priv. bath/shower? Gaybed offers shared bath/shower! We understand the question. But we guarantee: The bath is perfect! Clean, clean, clean! Do you have a main season? Yes, the summer is our high season. It starts in April and ends in November. How can I make a reservation? You just fill out the form - click on "Reservation". You can send us an eMail as well. Or give us a call: (outside of Germany you have to dial . Instead of the "+" you have to dial mostly "00" or "011" (please ask you phone company). The "49" is the country code. "30" is the city code of Berlin If you don´t want to use our form, please make sure you give us following info: Name, complete address, telephone number, day and time when you arrive, day and time of your departure and don´t forget your eMail address. Do you have a minimum stay? There is always a minimum stay of two nights. We do not like to rise the price on special events or during Berlin fairs, then we have a minimum of 3 and more nights. Why is Gaybed so cheap? Gaybed is popular and always fully booked. We also run our own home page and do not pay for expensive advertisements. Beside this we have no agents fees to pay. Gaybed has no 24 hour front desk and no room service. That makes it cheap and we can offer comfortable beds. Do you give any discount? Yes. The longer you stay the cheaper the price. Sometimes we have special offers - if we have one - you will find it on the 1st page - click on "Home". How does the rooms look like? All you need for a nice stay is available! From time to time we change the style. Click on "room", there are pictures of the room. How does the bed look like? A high quality mattrace, covered with 100% wool. On top a 100% cotton molton cover, 100% cotton bed sheds. Do you accept credit cards? Not direct - because we don´t want to share any financial info with you. We work with PayPal! What happens if I have to cancel the reservation? This system is very simple to understand: Make a valid reservation and pay in advance - then you save money. Flexiblility is expensive! You will find Gaybed in the center of Berlin, but it was on the former Berlin-West. How far is Gaybed from the Airport? Berlin has 3 airports. 60% of all visitors arrive at Tegel Airport (TXL). Tegel is very close to Gaybed. Just 8 minutes! Airport Schönefeld is getting more and more popular - for the low cost (budget) Airlines. Unfortunately Schönefeld is not in Berlin, not even in the same state! But during daytime it is no problem to get to Gaybed. At night time, from 22:00 on it is getting difficult and you might need to take a Taxi (30 Euro)! How far is Gaybed from the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof)? The Central Station is just a few minutes from Gaybed. How far is Gaybed from Zoo Station (Zoologischer Garten)? It is about 12 min. with public transport. Where is the next bus station? Right in front of our house is a bus stop with 4 lines and 24 hour service. Where is the next train station? You can take a bus (2min.) to the train station (with 24 hour service) or you walk (10 min.). Where is the next underground/subway station?
