Unless otherwise indicated, the rates are quoted in Euro. Rates quoted on this site are subject to change without prior notice. Gaybed may request a deposit or a full prepayment to guarantee the reservation. Gaybed may request an imprint of guest's credit card to guarantee the payments.

Cancellation, Reservations, Change of Reservation, Arrival and Stay
One reason why Gaybed is so inexpensive is because Gaybed is very often fully booked. The longer you make a reservation in advance, the better Gaybed can distribute. Flexibility makes it expensive. Therefore, please only book rooms once you are certain about your itinerary. Maybe like to know how long you should make your reservation. This list gives you an idea:

Cancellation of guest
After Gaybed confirmed your reservation, your booking and reservation is considered definite and final. Any cancellation of the confirmed reservation (whether by phone or in writing) has to be made 45 days prior to arrival, or 80% of the room charge will be applied. Exceptions to this policy can only be made if another guest is replacing you for the same period, which can not be guaranteed beforehand. If Gaybed find another guest replacing your room, Gaybed charge you a non-refundable "replacing" fee of Euro 50,-
If you cancel before 45 days prior your arrival we charge you only a non-refundable cancellation fee of Euro 50,-
We strongly urge a cancellation insurance!

Change of Reservation I
Every change (to another period of time) of the confirmed reservation (whether by phone or in writing) is held like a cancellation.
You can ask Gaybed to change your reservation, if
- You state Gaybed a new arrival date (Must be made within 15 days after the day of cancellation)
- AND a room is available
- AND the total room charge is at least as high as before.
If Gaybed agrees to your request and a room is available, Gaybed charge you a non-refundable "change of reservation" fee of Euro 50,-
If Gaybed does not agree to your request and/or no room is available, 80% of the room charge will be applied. Exceptions to this policy can only be made if another guest is replacing you for the same period (of confirmed reservation), which can not be guaranteed beforehand. If Gaybed find another guest replacing your room, Gaybed charge you a non-refundable "replacing" fee of Euro 50,-

Change of Reservation II
Every change (arrival day is later or departure day is earlier) of the confirmed reservation (whether by phone or in writing) is held like a cancellation and 80% of the room charge will be applied. Exceptions to this policy can only be made if another guest is replacing you for the days, which can not be guaranteed beforehand. If Gaybed find another guest replacing your room, Gaybed charge you a non-refundable "replacing" fee of Euro 50,-

Change of Reservation III
If you like to arrive earlier or you like to depart later (number of total nights is rising) and Gaybed has a room available, no extra charges will be applied. This is no offer in the terms of these regulations.

Cancellation and change of reservation hast to be done by registered mail. eMails can get lost! Gaybed confirm any cancellation or change of reservation.

Arrival time
Your arrival time is important.
- Gaybed has no 24 hour front desk.
- Gaybed wants to take time for your questions and love to explain you something about Berlin.
- Your arrival time is part of your reservation.
- Only if Gaybed confirms your arrival time your arrival is guaranteed.
1) If you are not able to send Gaybed your arrival time during your reservation, you have to send Gaybed your arrival time at least 48 hours prior your arrival.
2) If its later then 48 hours prior your arrival you have to submit your arrival time via phone. Gaybed confirms your arrival time right at the phone.
3) If you did not send Gaybed your arrival time during the reservation process and did not submit your arrival time via phone until 12:00 (noon) the day of your arrival, your reservation will be held from 14:00 on as "No-Show".
4) If you submit an arrival time during your reservation, but you are not able to be in time (delay of flight, train, a missed flight etc), you have to call Gaybed to change the arrival time. Gaybed confirms your arrival time via phone.
5) Gaybed reserve the right to held the room reservation after two hours of your scheduled arrival on the day of arrival as "No-Show".
6) In a proper reason you have the right to change the arrival time. Gaybed always confirms your arrival time. In case of a need to change the arrival time on the day of your scheduled arrival Gaybed try to make it possible to arrange a new arrival. You free Gaybed from liability claims, caused by problems in timing, as well if you are not able to get your room in appropriate time.

No-Show
80% of the room charge will be applied. Exceptions to this policy can only be made if another guest is replacing you for the same period (of confirmed reservation), which can not be guaranteed beforehand. If Gaybed find another guest replacing your room, Gaybed charge you a non-refundable "replacing" fee of Euro 50,-
Gaybed likes to offer you the room to a later time/day(s) within your requested and confirmed reservation. This cause an additional expenditure. Gaybed reserves the right to charge you for this additional expenditure at least 10 Euro, but max. 50 Euro.
You free Gaybed from liability claims, caused by problems in timing, as well if you are not able to get your room in appropriate time.

Cancellation of Gaybed
1. Gaybed reserves the same right to cancel 45 days prior arrival the reservation. If you did not cause this cancellation, there are no charges.
2a. If you do not transfer the payment not in advance, as well not after a 2nd respite Gaybed reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
2b. If you do not send an arrival time during your reservation, as well not after a 2nd respite Gaybed reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
80% of the room charge will be applied. Exceptions to this policy can only be made if another guest is replacing you for the days, which can not be guaranteed beforehand. If Gaybed find another guest replacing your room, Gaybed charge you a non-refundable "replacing" fee of Euro 50,-
3. Gaybed reserves the right to cancel in essentially reason (like higher force or not from Gaybed represented circumstances which makes the fulfilment of the contract not possible.) the reservation.
4. Gaybed can cancel the contract (the reservation)
- if you make a reservation under misleading or wrong indication;
- Gaybed justified cause for notion concern the flow of Gaybeds business, which security or the reputation Gaybeds in the public can endanger.
- if you offence against subletting the rooms as well as their use is present to others than accommodating purposes.
- if you insult, threaten, or to intimidate other guests, coworkers or landlords, also if it was only rudimentary, and it does not matter if your insult, threat, or intimidation is not concern according to the spirit of the german law, it is only crucial how the other guests, coworkers or landlords construed your insult, threat, or intimidation, leads this to Gaybed to cancel the contract and you are liable to pay damages of 80% of the room charge. Exceptions to this policy can only be made if another guest is replacing you for the same period (of confirmed reservation), which can not be guaranteed beforehand. If Gaybed find another guest replacing your room, Gaybed charge you a non-refundable "replacing" fee of Euro 50,-
If it's a misunderstanding, you have the obligation to clear up this misunderstanding immediately before the termination of contract;
- if you offend the house regulations. If you substantially or continual offend against the house regulation leads this to Gaybed to cancel the contract and you are liable to pay damages of 80% of the room charge. Exceptions to this policy can only be made if another guest is replacing you for the same period (your reservation), which can not be guaranteed beforehand. If Gaybed find another guest replacing your room, Gaybed charge you a non-refundable "replacing" fee of Euro 50,-

Gaybed has to inform you immediately about the cancellation of the contract.
In this case you have no requirement for compensation.

House Regulations
Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We are taking care of all of our guests. To make sure we are able to offer you and other guests a perfect stay at Gaybed we have house regulations.

00. The house regulations are part of the Terms & Regulation.

01. Your help is wanted
Our goal is to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We are human and we do mistakes. In case you have a problem, something is not like it should be, please do not wait and give us a chance to explain, or to solve the problem.

02. Smoking
is not allowed in your room, the kitchen, the bath - the whole building, or "out of the window". Please only smoke in front of the house.
a) Most of our guests do not like the smell of cigarettes. We can not effort a guest leaving Gaybed because his room is smelly.
b) Cigarettes could cause fire. The floor is made of wood and safety is very important for us.
c) To clean a "Smoker's room" is more expensive. You have to renovate the room more often and Cigarettes could damage carpets, bed sheets etc.

03. Sandals
This house is over 100 years old. Isn't the floor nice? To keep it nice, please take your shoes off at Gaybed. A carpet could cover and protect the 150 year old wood, but I guess you know to appreciate this historic floor. In your room are disinfected sandals. Please feel free to use them. After use, just leave them in your room.

04. Quiet please!
You have the right to sleep whenever you want. No one has the right to disturb your sleep! Between 8pm and 10am we ask you to:
Please talk more quietly!
Please open and close the doors more carefully!
Please walk more quietly!
Please no music!
Please never forget: This rule is not cutting your rights or pleasure! We want to take care of everyone. Especially groups often speak louder. Groups have their own dynamic. Please make sure your friends respect as well the needs of other guests. Maybe you disturb someone next room. We are sure; you do not like to be disturbed too after your Disco Tour. ;)

05. Your Room!
a) Please do not eat or drink in your room, as well no Redwine or coffee. Please have breakfast only in the kitchen. Your youm is not really suitable for this, even you take care it might happen that you drop something on the carpet or bed. In case you damage something we have to ask for compensation and this situation is really not pleasant for both sides.
b) Because of safety reasons, open fire is not allowed. No candles, no fireworks, no cigarettes etc. Please only use electrical devices (handy, radio, electrical toothbrushes, shaver, battery charger etc..) under supervision. Please unplug all your own electrical device when leaving the room.
c) If you leave and do not return you key there is a non-refundable charge of Euro 50.- per key if you send us back the key. Gaybed reserves the right to bill you the demage you caused. When you loose the key and/or in the event of a lock change, an additional charge may be levied.
d1) Check-out is 12:00 (noon). Afterwards Gaybed bills you for the additional use of the room up to 18:00 o'clock 50% of the regular list price, starting from 18.00 o'clock 100%. This is no offer in the terms of these regulations. Gaybed reserves the right to bill you claim for compensation.
d2) Check-in is 12:00 (noon). The supply and return of the room in each case is 12:00 o'clock and an intersection is quite possible. It is a service to offer the room as early as possible but in case the room is not available at 12:00 o'clock, you give Gaybed time to prepare the room
e) You do not acquire the requirement on certain rooms.
f) Guests are only allowed in your room if you make sure they agree to the house regulations. We reserve the right to change this policy any time. You are liable for your guest's damage. Alcohol and taking someone home is not a good mix. For your own safety you are not allowed to take someone home if you drunk.

06. Bathroom
- Please always assume the floor in the bathroom is wet and slippery. Enter the bathroom always very carefully!
- For hygienic reasons please never wear out door shoes.
- Please do not use electrical devices in the bathroom.
- There is always someone else who use the bathroom after you. Please make sure you leave the bathroom in the condition you like to find it and close the toilet seat after use. Of course Gaybed cleans and disinfect the bathroom regularly. If the bathroom is not in a proper condition, please let us immediately know.
- Take all your personal belongings with you.

07. Breakfast
We like to offer more flexible breakfast hours:
6:00 - 12:00 o'clock.
Flexible breakfast hours are only possible if everyone prepares his own breakfast and washes up the table-ware afterwards. Just let the dish in the basked to dry. To leave it in the sink looks not nice and is not hygienic. The detergent is newer generation high tech and becomes active also with cold water.

08. Diamonds are girl's best friend
You should lock your room when not occupied. Please do not leave any valuables in your room. Gaybed is not unless through Gaybeds own negligence liable for your (or your guests) personal property missing, loss, damage or stolen from rooms if you do not choose to use the safekeeping during your stay. Gaybed is not liable if written notice of loss or damage was not made within 12 hours. If the missing property is negligence by Gaybed .The maximum liability to Gaybed is one night room rent divided by the numbers of person who stay in it.
You can give us your diamonds, your Rolex and your stocks. We seal it in an envelope and take care of it. We reserve the right to deny valuables worth more then 300 Euro. Gaybeds maximum liability for safekeeping your valuables is 300 Euro.
The liability for safekeeping ends with the room return, latest at 12:00 o'clock of your departure day.

If you substantially or continual offend against the house regulation leads this to Gaybed to cancel the contract and you are liable to pay damages of 80% of the room charge. Exceptions to this policy can only be made if another guest is replacing you for the same period (of confirmed reservation), which can not be guaranteed beforehand. If Gaybed find another guest replacing your room, Gaybed charge you a non-refundable "replacing" fee of Euro 50,-

Data-Protection
We process all mails on an extra Computer, with several software and hardware protections. We scan in and outgoing mails. But Gaybed cannot guarantee that any mail is free of computer viruses or other conditions which could damage or interfere with data, hardware or software with which it might be used. We reconmend every internet user to install an anti virus software. We never send attachments! We never send Virus-Warnings and never send programs.

Please do not send Gaybed any attachments. We delete attachments automatically on the mailserver. We are not able to neither read those mails nor recover the deleted files!

Contact
We handle all data with care! We don't give them or sell them to a third party! On the reservation form we are asking for your name, eMail address, home address, phone number, room type, arrival and departure dates and times. Because of protection, we record the internet ident number. Gaybed does not leave cookies on your PC! The ISP of this Site generates a statistic, but Gaybed is NOT able to cross-check those data.

We are not collecting or selling your information (like eMails etc) and we do not ask for your credit card details via eMail!
